Why LIVE EVENTS are the best place to get MORE CLIENTS

Did you know it’s possible to average $1000+ in business every time you go to an event, and EVERY BUSINESS TRIP CAN BE PROFITABLE?!?
The last 4 events I’ve attended have turned into $4,000+ worth of business for me or my agency..
So here’s how I did it:
1. I didn’t have 🤑 in my eyes!
People are turned off by aggressive, salesy people and can immediately tell when you have a motive. Use the event to create authentic relationships with people. Events create an opportunity to create an intimate connection with people that would take much longer online.
I don’t do any selling at the event.
Instead of looking to GET, I try to find ways to GIVE. I ask lots of questions and offer relevant solutions to their problems. Being helpful is much more memorable than being salesy.
If you want.. Schedule a time after the event or at a break when both people are attentive and engaged.
People like to do business with their friends, so go in looking for people that can become friends…
2. Connect with EVERYONE or ANYONE
Some people like to meet everyone in the room… and some people like to make deep connections with a few select people.
There’s no right answer…
Even if those connections don’t turn into clients, they can become referrals.
Just make sure that you’re making meaningful connections that you can build on after the event.
And don’t be afraid to connect with the speakers…
This is when they’re most available so don’t be shy!
3. Follow Up IMMEDIATELY
If someone was important to you, let them know…
People have such crazy lives so make sure to reach out when you are top of mind.
Build a relationship and find a way to stay connected. Stay attentive and offer solutions when you can. Be an expert they can turn to for help.
When they need someone like you, you’ll be first in line.
